Swimming
a poem
Slight quick pulses awaken the lake cool cauldron of boiling bubbles burst upon pale shore an ancient urge propels them to bring forth their children racing by the moon Sleek fleet forms churn tepid water an ocean of motion in seal-black night desperate migrants claim Spanish ground and a better chance The melting world swallows distance drowning boundaries, no wall, no border can withstand that swelling tide of hope and humanity

“The melting world
swallows distance”
Every one of your poems is worth waiting for. What a gem, Nora!
“...no wall, no border
can withstand
that swelling tide
of hope and humanity.”
The poem quietly transforms instinct into empathy...
Direct Teleport - natural world to the human one - without ever raising its voice.
